We are very proud of our trainees, who were awarded with the German Design Award for their project Stekkbar!

The task was to develop a product that was innovative, sustainable and easy to realize in our workshops. The outcome was the Stekkbar. Height-adjustable plug-in furniture – grows with the child and saves resources. The fact that it is manufactured from a single panel without additional connectors means that it can also be removed sustainably and the recycling process can be maintained. Thanks to its space-saving design, the Stekkbar offers an efficient solution for the growing lack of living space and smaller living concepts.

The project confronted our trainees with many challenges, which were successfully solved thanks to their various competencies. On board were trainees from all departments – event managers, carpenters and technical product designers.

The Stekkbar was not only awarded in the “Furniture” category, but also in “Brand Identity”.
