Hannah passed her apprenticeship exam in January – we are very proud of her!

As a journeyman’s piece, she built a sideboard using a combination of dyed blue MDF and maple. The mountain landscape milled into the front is a special eye-catcher.
“I was inspired by the furniture of the sixties. I adopted this in the design and interpreted it in a contemporary way. The grooves create a playful effect with the material and form an image framed by the outer body. The difficulties were in processing the raw MDF and finding a construction that allowed this clean look.”

We think the implementation was very successful and we are proud of the result that she has delivered after 2.5 years of apprenticeship. With her knowledge from her previous design studies and her training with us, Hannah is a great asset to our team. We are happy that she will continue to support us in the field of creation.
